If I had an instagram video post that I just HAD to put on the site, I’d probably just write a blog post on the same topic, and embed the instagram video content as a part of that post.

I don’t think I’d use it as an excuse to make a shorter post really … but I’d go ahead and let it enhance a good, lengthy post on the same topic.

So write your post just like this, then, when you want to embed your post you just click the three dots in the upper right of the post on instagram and choose ’embed’, then copy the code they give you.

If you’ve written some content before embedding the IG post, then the post should still look pretty good on the /blog front page. You should probably still add a featured image as well.
